I was in a situation where I have this but not that, time is a concern. And this is what I got.
Quick Silken Tofu in Oyster Sauce
Ingredients:
Seasoning:
2 tablespoons Oyster Sauce
2 tablespoons Shao HsingWine
1 tablespoon Soy Sauce
Pepper
1 stalk Chinese cilantro
1 stalk Chinese cilantro
Directions:
- Mix all seasoning together (except for the Shao Hsing Wine) and cook to simmer in a small pot that can fit in the block of tofu.
- Add the block of Japanese Soft Silken Tofu and cover for about 2 to 3 minutes. Lightly toss in between time.
- When sauce is slightly thicken, remove from heat and add Shao Hsing Wine.
- Top with chopped Chinese cilantro and you are ready to serve.
