Cooking - Edamame

This is something to share about how to prepare / cook edamame. You may think why edamame!? It's so easy. Yes it is easy. But if you do it wrong, it won't achieve the right result. This was actually my second attempt which is successful. In the first attempt, I have overcooked the Edamame that it turned brown which is wrong and doesn't taste right at all.

Edamame - Cooking it right

Prep Time: 1 minute     |     Cooking Time: 7 minutes     |      Yields: 4 paxs

Ingredients:
Nice green cooked Edamame
1 pack of Edamame 400g

Seasoning:
2 tablespoons fine table salt

     Directions:
    1. Add salt, Edamame and bring water to boil in a pot. Ensure water is sufficient to submerge all the edamame.
    2. You will notice that once the edamame starts to cook, it will begin to float. 
    3. Once all the edamame is floating, notice the color changes from the dark green colored into bright light green.
    4. Remove from heat and drain Edamame in a colander.
    5. Toss with dashes of fine salt and ready  to serve with skin.
