Sketching How To - Mouth or Lips

Yes. This is the other part of the body I never liked to draw since childhood. I'd always get so frustrated over it as well aside to the nose.
Here I am attempting the few angles of the mouth or the lips.

Step 1 :
Draw a triangle. Height is longer than width at about ratio of 3 to 2.
Step 2 :
Draw the triangle height into equal 3 sections  (we will  have 2 horizontal lines). Draw a U curve at first horizontal.
Step 3 :
Draw a the second horizontal line on the long for wider mouth short for pouty lips.

Step 4 :
Join the U curve with the two edge of the mouth using curved lines. This will make it look like a bow. Finish up the top lip to obtain the shape.

Step 5 :
Draw the bottom lips using the base of the triangle and finish up the shape for the bottom lips.

Step 6 :
Erase the triangle then determine the light source direction.  Outline the area of light cast on and shade the shadow below the bottom lips.

Step 7 :
Shade the lips to make it with depth leaving the light cast on lighter.

Step 8 :
Draw the lip lines using a darker fine pencil. Then begin blending the upper and lower lips without making lip lines disappear.
Step 9 :
Clean up the light cast on areas.
Step 10 :
Do the finishing touches.

The beginning of this page are the few lips drawing that I have tried out using almost the same technique only with a different angle.
